You Spin Me Right Round. . .


Another musical icon of the 80's gone. Pete Burns, frontman for the band Dead or Alive, singing one of my favorite dance tunes ever "You Spin Me Round".

This line, from The New York Times, is simply the best:

Mr. Galloway, writing on Twitter on Monday, praised Mr. Burns as “a cross between Oscar Wilde and Dorothy Parker.”

I just look through the fog of the time machine, circa 1985, in a dance club somewhere in LA and remember the sheer dancing joy. You can't go back, but you can take up Zumba!
